Allens Dryer Balls

Chances are if you are visiting Allen's Naturally you are looking for alternatives for products with harsh chemicals, perfumes and dyes found in laundry products like dryer sheets. These felted wool dryer balls will do the same job in less time.

The wool soaks up some of the moisture in your laundry as it dries, but then evenly distributes it into the air – helping your dryer stay humid longer, which exponentially reduces static cling. In addition, this “soaking and releasing” action makes your clothes dry faster.  Combine all of these things and less energy is used with your clothes having fewer wrinkles.

It is recommended to use 3-6 dryer balls at a time for best results

These Dryer Balls are the approximate size of a Tennis Ball, 58 gm and 71 mm.

We moved to using these dryer balls about a year ago. We use three in our dryer and they work great! I love the fact I've been able to stop using dryer sheets with all the added chemicals. With the dryer balls, our laundry still comes out soft with minimal static. I highly recommend making the switch!

I don't know why it took me so long to discover these! I am so glad I found them. I dislike using dryer sheets because of the residue they leave on clothes and I have sensitivity to processed fragrances. I use these for every load! No more dryer sheets for this family! They have been durable as well. I purchased our first set from The Nappy Shoppe over a year ago and with cloth diapers and a family of 5 they get used daily! They are still good as new. No unraveling or pilling! I also love that they come in multiple colors because I add essential oils to them. With the different colors I put different oils on each color.

These dryer balls are amazing. I was looking for a way to cut out dryer sheets, but still have fluffy laundry. I tried the wool dryer balls and they fit the bill perfectly. Not only did my laundry still come out fluffy, but they helped cut down on drying time also! I love that they come in a variety of colors too!

I had never heard of wool dryer balls until I visited The Nappy Shoppe, at the time we were using prefolds for cloth diapers. Its seemed that they were taking a long time to dry, so the girls at the shoppe suggested to give them a try. I'm glad I did, they have cut the drying time down on all my laundry. Small loads that used to come out of the dryer wrinkled now are nicely fluffed wrinkle free. I have even started adding a drop of lavender oil on them to make our laundry smell nice.
