Training Pants

In general, a child will train faster with cloth training pants than the disposable kind.  Additionally, just like cloth diapers, cloth training pants are a more affordable and green option.

To snap or not to snap.  My suggestion is to buy trainers with both side snaps.  You can leave them snapped up so your child can pull them up and down like underpants.  But if there is a poopy accident it is easy to unsnap the pants for clean up.  Also it is easier to stuff the pocket in the training pants when they are unsnapped.

If your child is further along in training and less prone to poopy accidents then trainers without snaps will work well for them as they are more like underpants.
