Nappy Shoppe is located in Plano Texas.  We are on the South West corner of Parker and Independence.  Check our Contact Us page for our hours of operation.  We specialise in cloth diapers, baby carriers, nursing supplies, teething needs, training pants, swim diapers and other natural parenting products. 

About Sharni

Nappy Shoppe is owned by Sharni Vaughan.  Sharni is an Australian who married a Texan.  She has 4 children, the first born in 1987 and the last in 2008.  All bar the third were cloth diapered.  The first was cloth diapered with traditional flats, pins and plastic pants.  The final baby enjoyed all the modern conveniences of today's cloth diapers.

Nappy Shoppe started in Sharni's home in 2008, with just a sewing machine and some diaper fabrics, making the now popular G-Flapper insert.  As time went on Sharni added other products to her sewn line up, from wet bags, to the Nappy Strap, to nursing covers.  Sharni started adding other brands to her line up.  In 2010 Sharni moved the business out of her home into an office warehouse in Allen.  At the request of customers, she started opening to the public.  In 2011, she started opening limited regular hours.  In February 2012, she opened her store in Plano with regular store hours.

Sharni employs a team of wonderful staff to help with the making of her products, to help with the classes, and serving her customers.

Her stars include:

Samantha - Sam is the mother of Max who was born in early 2011.  Max was born at only 4 pounds, so Sam has tried most of the newborn diapers on the market at the time and is our go to on cloth diapering a tiny baby.

Sam loves her Sustainablebabyish wool and fitteds on Max.

Cheyenne - Cheyenne is the mother of three girls.  She has cloth diapered her last two babies.  She is our resident baby wearing expert.  She will not admit to how many carriers, slings and wraps that she owns.  She is one of the co-leaders for the local babywearing group.

Cheyenne is a Lactation Counselor and helps run our Breastfeeding Cafe which is our support group for nursing women.  She has nursed all her babies, as long as two years.

Ryley - Ryley is the mother of Rowan who was born in 2010.  She, like Cheyenne, is a babywearing expert.  Ryley's goal is to keep things as natural as possible fo her son.  Ryley is a co-leader for the local babywearing group.

Ryley is an expert on budget friendly diapering options, preferring prefolds and covers to all in ones.

Katie - Katie is the mother of Elijah who was born in late 2011.  Katie has a love of babywearing and cloth diapering.  Her favourite cloth diapers are Sustainablebabyish.  She is our resident wool expert/addict.

Lydia - Lydia is a Le Leche League leader in Sherman, and helps us run our Breastfeeding Cafe.  She is the mother of two children, Brayden & Baecca.  Lydia loves her Ergo carrier.

Bobbi - Bobbi is the mother of Jax and Rosu.  Rosy was born in 2012.  Both babies were cloth diapered from the very beginning.  Bobbi loves all in two diapers, in particular GroVia.  She is now using the same GroVia diapers she used on Jax on Rosy.

Susan - Susan is the mother of Adelaide, better known as Addi.  Addi was born in 2010.  Susan has cloth diapered Addi from the beginning.  Her carrier of choice is her Ergo.

Bethany - Bethany is the mother of Hendrik who was born in late 2011.  Bethany is a nurse from Illinois.  Bethany likes the Bum Genius product line. 

Hendrik suffers from facial eczema, and Bethany put a hazelwood necklace on him and it cleared up.  She declares hazelwood to be a miracle!

Angela - Angela is the mother of three wonderful girls, two of whom are teenagers. Angela is our chief sewer.  Angela has been sewing since she was a girl.  She made her first quilt at 12 years of age.  Many of the Nappy Shoppe line of products are sewn by Angela.
