G-Flapper ™ Insert - Hemp and Microfiber and Microchamois - Medium/Large

These inserts are made from 2 layers of thick Hemp/Organic Cotton Fleece, 2 layers of thick Microfiber Terry and a layer of ultrasoft microchamois.  They are sewn flapper style with TWO flaps so that they wash easily and dry easily.  The microchamois layer is sewn together with the two microfiber layers.  This is done to prevent shifting of the microchamois layer and exposing the microfiber terry to baby's bum.

The microchamois side is to be placed against the baby's bottom as it is nice and soft and will wick moisture away from the baby's bottom. 

We have pre-washed the hemp in hot water and in a hot dryer before cutting.  This is to reduce the shrinkage.  The hemp will need to be pre-washed around 2 more times or more to achieve optimal absorbancy. Some extra shrinkage may occur with washing. 

These inserts work great with G-diapers, as a doubler layer in a regular diaper or as an insert in a pocket diaper.

G-Diaper users please note.  In general when using cloth inserts, as they are not as stiff as paper flushable inserts, you do not get the curve that is shown on the G-Diaper fitting video.  I make the cloth inserts a little smaller than flushable inserts because that is what I have found to work better and is easier to stuff the diaper.  99% of customers find the same to be true for them.  If for some reason you would like your insert to be a custom size to suit your needs please contact us, and I will make your inserts to your specifications.
