DIY Supplies

Please note we have closed down our DIY section while we move Nappy Shoppe. We will re-open DIY on March 1st 2012.

Introducing the new DIY section of Nappy Shoppe.  Due to demand from those who sew, I am now offering up fabrics etc for those who want to make their own inserts and diapers.  I buy most of my fabrics by the roll to make my g-flappers etc.  Whenever I have extra, I will offer the fabrics up for sale in this section.  If you are trying to work out what fabrics to use for your inserts etc, please refer to the help page I wrote on inserts and doublers

BIG TIP:  Diaper fabrics in general generate a lot of lint.  Make sure to clean your sewing machine and have it serviced regularily by a professional.  I personally have my serger cleaned professionally every month because of the amount of sewing I do with these fabrics.

You do not need a serger to make your own inserts and diapers, although it is nice.  You can use a simple zigzag stitch or use the turn and top stitch method using a normal sewing machine.

Please note that I sell most of these fabrics in HALF YARD increments unless otherwise specified.  This is at the request of customers who find they only want a small amount for making inserts etc for personal use.

PLEASE NOTE:  We cannot take returns on cut fabrics.  So please choose your yardage carefully.

I also sell quilters cottons and other fabrics on Etsy.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/nappyshoppe
