Mama Pads

Cloth menstrual pads are not only more comfortable, but they are also healthier than disposable pads.  Cloth pads, are also called mama pads or mama cloth.  They do not contain any harmful chemicals like those found in disposables pads.  They are also more cost effective and better for the environment.

Care for mama pads is easy.  If you cloth diaper, you can wash them with your cloth diapers.  If you do not, then you can store them in a container or a wet bag until you are ready to wash them in the washing machine.  You can also get pretty wet bags specifically designed for mama cloth for carrying them around in your purse.
